Apple just revealed a bundle of new AirPods features at WWDC 2025. That includes a way to control your iPhone or iPad’s camera by tapping the stem of your AirPods.
Your AirPods can now detect when you’ve fallen asleep as well, allowing them to pause playback so you don’t miss what you were listening to.
There’s also a new head gesture you can use to extend the volume adjustment made with Conversation Awareness, which lowers your AirPods’ audio while you talk, as well as a “studio quality” mic mode.
